Welcome to trndy. By downloading, installing, or using the trndy mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Your Account

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@trndy.life if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the App without our written consent.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of photos and content you submit through the App ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant trndy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services (e.g., generating outfit ratings and recommendations).

You represent and warrant that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or any applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the App — including its design, code, branding, and generated recommendations — is owned by trndy or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use trndy's trademarks, logos, or proprietary materials without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Outfit ratings and accessory recommendations are generated for entertainment and guidance purposes only and do not constitute professional styling advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any recommendation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, trndy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts applicable to your location.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
